How to run a space quiz night

If you are using these questions in a classroom or at home, read the Easy round first so everyone gets off to a good start, then mix Medium and Hard questions for older players. For kids, turn the planet questions into a race: the first to name all eight planets in order wins a bonus point. For adults, ask teams to write their answers down and only reveal the facts at the end of each round, which keeps the debate going. Keep score in rounds of ten so latecomers can still catch up.

Play it live against a real opponent

Think you would score 37 out of 37? Prove it under pressure. The live space quiz puts you against another player on 7 questions about planets, stars, moons and missions, with 10 seconds each. Send a challenge link to a friend or a classmate, try the space pictures quiz to name planets and nebulae from real photos, or jump into Quick match to face someone new on any topic. Every match earns XP toward your Space level and moves you up the leaderboards.

FAQ

Are these space quiz questions good for kids?

Yes. The Easy round suits younger players and anyone just starting to learn about the planets. The Medium and Hard rounds use more names and dates, so they suit older children, adults and astronomy fans.

Are the answers up to date?

We only use well established facts, such as the order of the planets, famous missions and dates that will not change. Things like the number of known moons change as new ones are found, so we leave those out.

How does the live space quiz work?

Two players answer the same 7 questions with 10 seconds per question. Faster correct answers score more points, and question 7 counts double. Each match earns XP toward your Space topic level and helps you climb leagues and leaderboards.
